Medical Disclaimer
A Message from Our Founder
Before you read the legal language below, I want to explain why this page exists in plain terms.
MyLGHealth was designed to make them knowledgeable of their medical records. That’s it. We are not doctors who are treating you over a screen. We are not diagnosing. We are not prescribing you anything to take and not to take. We are simply doing what we can do with a document with a lot of medical jargon, reference ranges, abbreviations that most people cannot comprehend and translating it into language which you can comprehend.
The explanation is produced by an AI system trained on thousands of actual medical documents whose responses are reviewed by a physician. It’s good at what it does. However, it has its limits and I want you to be aware of what those limits are before you trust anything you see on this platform.
In case your summary raises some red flags, discuss the matter with your doctor. When you are not sure, discuss with your doctor. No need to create a report on the web, call your doctor or visit the closest emergency room in case of symptoms. MyLGHealth is a learning instrument. It should not be used to replace professional medical care.
— Dr. Lynn A. Brody, Founder and CEO of MyLGHealth
1. Nature of the Service
MyLGHealth (available at my-lghealth.com) is an AI-informed medical assistant that reads medical records, such as lab reports, blood panels, metabolic panels, urine analyses, and prescriptions, to form plain-language summaries to enable users to gain insight into what is contained in their medical records.
MyLGHealth is neither a medical practice, nor a healthcare provider nor a hospital or clinic nor a pharmacy nor a diagnostic laboratory or a licensed medical service of any type. MyLGHealth does not hire or outsource physicians to deliver medical services using the platform. The doctors who are named in our site are advisory, control and quality control positions concerning the AI system, and they are never directly attending to the patient using MyLGHealth.
MyLGHealth has a feature named Consult a Doctor, which allows users to be matched with medical professionals to receive educational support, based on AI-generated summaries. It is an informational service and is not a doctor-patient relationship, medical consultation, clinical diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation.
2. No Medical Advice
Not one of the MyLGHealth features, such as the use of AI to produce summaries, community reports, informational information, frequently asked questions, or any other resource, is medical advice, clinical diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or pharmaceutical information.
The AI-generated summaries are generated with the help of an automated system. Even though our AI is pretrained on medical records that have been examined by physicians and are monitored by our medical advisory board, it does not cross-examine a single summary with a physician and then display it to the user. Never use any information on MyLGHealth to self-diagnose any medical condition, start/stop any drug, delay emergency medical treatment, decide on medical procedures or treatment or replace a visit with your licensed healthcare professional.
In case you feel that you are in a medical emergency, do not use MyLGHealth and call your emergency services. In the USA, dial 911. In the U.K., dial 999. Call 112 in the European Union. In Australia, call 000. In Pakistan, call 1122. In India, call 112.
3. AI Limitations and Accuracy
The AI system of MyLGHealth uses a vision-language model technology based on medical documents that have been reviewed by physicians. Regardless of such training, the AI system contains some inherent limitations that all users should be aware of.
AI-generated summaries can be incorrect, omit or not be accurate. The AI can misunderstand handwritten text, that was scanned poorly, or had an odd format. Not all laboratories use the same reference ranges, and the AI might use some general reference ranges that are not the same as those applied by the laboratory where your sample was sent. The AI does not take into consideration all your medical history, medications, symptoms, allergies, family history, lifestyle, or any other clinical background that a physician would take into consideration when reading your results.
A 2025 meta-analysis published in Nature Digital Medicine reviewed 83 studies and found that general-purpose AI models achieved an overall diagnostic accuracy of approximately 52 percent. While specialized and fine-tuned AI systems perform significantly better, no AI system matches the clinical judgment of an expert physician who has access to the patient’s full medical context. MyLGHealth’s summaries should always be treated as a starting point for understanding — not as a definitive interpretation of your health status.

4. Your Responsibilities as a User
Through MyLGHealth, you recognize and accept that you will not make any medical decisions based on MyLGHealth information without consulting an appropriate, licensed healthcare professional. You know that AI-generated summaries are not medical advice but educational. You will never make any health-related decision using the MyLGHealth summaries alone. You would obtain emergency medical services as soon as necessary and will not postpone any treatment due to any MyLGHealth information. It is your duty to check the correctness of any AI-generated summary with your own healthcare provider. You know that the fact that you do not have a flagged value in your summary does not mean that your results are normal or that you do not have some medical issue.
5. Data Privacy and Document Handling
MyLGHealth stores all documents uploaded completely in server memory. The files are never written to disk, never stored in any database and are deleted permanently out of server memory the minute your summary is created. MyLGHealth does not store, store or backup or transmit your uploaded documents.
The analysis of the document does not involve gathering of your name, contact information, or any other personally identifiable information by MyLGHealth. The service does not require any account creation or registration.
The sole condition when any data is stored is when a user willingly submits his or her summary created by AI using the Community Reports feature. Here, the AI-written summary text and the name, which is voluntarily provided by the user are the only data stored and shown. The initial document uploaded is never saved or distributed in any way.
6. Compliance with International Data Protection Frameworks
MyLGHealth’s zero-storage architecture and privacy practices are designed to align with the principles of major data protection frameworks worldwide. The following section explains how our practices relate to applicable laws in key jurisdictions. This section is informational and does not constitute a legal guarantee of compliance with any specific regulation.
United States — HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996)
HIPAA governs the use and disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI) by covered entities and their business associates. MyLGHealth is not a covered entity under HIPAA, as it does not provide healthcare services, health insurance, or healthcare clearinghouse functions. MyLGHealth does not store, transmit, or maintain PHI. Because documents are processed in memory and deleted immediately, no PHI persists on our systems at any point after summary generation.

United States — FTC Health Breach Notification Rule
The Federal Trade Commission’s Health Breach Notification Rule applies to vendors of personal health records and related entities not covered by HIPAA. MyLGHealth does not maintain personal health records. Our zero-storage model means there is no health data retained that could be subject to a breach.

United States — California AB 3030 (AI in Healthcare Act, effective January 2025)
California’s AB 3030 requires healthcare entities using generative AI in patient communications to include prominent disclaimers. While MyLGHealth is not a licensed healthcare entity, we voluntarily comply with the spirit of this requirement by displaying clear disclaimers on every page stating that MyLGHealth is an AI-powered educational tool and does not provide medical advice.

United States — Texas TRAIGA (Texas Responsible AI Governance Act, effective January 2026)
Texas TRAIGA requires licensed healthcare practitioners to disclose the use of AI in diagnosis or treatment. MyLGHealth is not a licensed healthcare practitioner and does not perform diagnosis or treatment. Our platform discloses prominently and on every page that all summaries are AI-generated.
European Union — GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
The GDPR applies to the processing of personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area. MyLGHealth’s practices align with key GDPR principles including data minimization (we collect only the document uploaded and retain nothing after processing), purpose limitation (documents are used solely to generate a summary and for no other purpose), the right to erasure (automatic, as files are deleted immediately after summary generation), and transparency (this disclaimer and our Privacy Policy explain our practices clearly).
Health data is classified as a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR. MyLGHealth does not store health data. The processing that occurs in server memory during summary generation is transient and no personal data persists after the process completes.

European Union — EU AI Act (entering full enforcement August 2026)
The EU AI Act classifies AI systems by risk level. AI systems used in healthcare contexts may be classified as high-risk under Annex III. MyLGHealth is an educational tool and does not perform clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, or medical decision-making. We voluntarily maintain transparency about our AI system’s capabilities and limitations as described throughout this disclaimer.

United Kingdom — UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
Following Brexit, the United Kingdom adopted the UK GDPR alongside the Data Protection Act 2018, which mirrors the EU GDPR in most material respects. MyLGHealth’s data practices — including zero storage, immediate deletion, and no collection of personal information — align with the UK GDPR’s requirements for lawful processing, data minimization, and storage limitation.

Australia — Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
In Australia, personal information is treated under the Privacy Act 1988 and 13 Australian Privacy Principles, where health information is considered sensitive information, and thus, extra protection is provided. Specific guidance has been issued by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) that the Privacy Act can be used in any application of AI that utilizes personal information, and that AI systems are known to generate inaccurate results, which organizations should take reasonable steps to correct, and use appropriate disclaimers.
The practices of MyLGHealth are in line with the APPs. In APP 3 (collection) we just collect the uploaded document to create a summary. We refer to the document under APP 6 (use and disclosure) to generate a summary. Under APP 11 (security) the documents are handled in memory and are automatically deleted, reducing security risk. with reference to APP 13 (correction), no personal information is stored which would need correction.

Pakistan — Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA) and Personal Data Protection Bill
Pakistan’s PECA addresses electronic data and privacy in digital contexts. While Pakistan does not yet have a comprehensive personal data protection law equivalent to GDPR, the Personal Data Protection Bill (pending legislation) proposes protections for personal data including health information. MyLGHealth applies the same zero-storage and immediate deletion practices to users in Pakistan as it does globally.
India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA)
India’s DPDPA, enacted in August 2023, regulates the processing of digital personal data. Health data is classified as sensitive personal data. MyLGHealth’s practices align with the DPDPA’s principles of purpose limitation, data minimization, and storage limitation, as we do not store any personal data after summary generation.

Middle East — UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and Saudi Arabia PDPL
The UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law and Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law both impose obligations regarding the processing of personal data, including health data. MyLGHealth’s zero-storage model and transparent privacy practices are consistent with the principles established by both frameworks.
7. Community Reports Disclaimer
Another option to enable users to share their AI-generated summaries with other users is the Community Reports feature on MyLGHealth, where users can share such summaries on a voluntary basis. Community reports are anecdotal reports by individual users. MyLGHealth does not check, confirm or certify the medical accuracy of any report by the community. Community reports should never be used as the basis for medical decisions.
The community reports are shared with informed consent. Only the name of the user and the text generated by the AI summaries are shown in shared summaries. Documents uploaded are never copied or shared. Users may remove their shared reports anytime by the delete link they are presented with when they share.
8. Third-Party Content and External Links
MyLGHealth may contain links to external websites, medical resources, or third-party services. These links are provided for informational purposes only. Questions Regarding Privacy And Your Rights To Use Our Website Answered:
Yes. When you upload a document to MyLGHealth, it's processed entirely in server memory and deleted the moment your summary is generated. Nothing gets written to a database, nothing gets saved to disk, and no one — including our team — can access your document after the summary is ready. We don't collect personal information, and no account or registration is needed.
You can upload PDF, JPG, and PNG files up to 5MB in size, with a maximum of 5 pages per document. That covers the vast majority of lab reports and prescriptions you'd receive from a clinic, hospital, or patient portal.
The AI behind MyLGHealth was trained on thousands of real medical documents with responses individually reviewed by qualified physicians, and our medical team monitors output quality on an ongoing basis. It's reliable for identifying values, flagging what's outside normal reference ranges, and explaining what each test measures in plain language. That said, no AI replaces a doctor who knows your full medical history, symptoms, and lifestyle — so if something in your summary concerns you, always follow up with a healthcare professional before acting on it.
Summaries are currently available in English, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, French, Spanish, Bengali, Turkish, and several other languages. You pick your preferred language before uploading, and the AI generates the entire summary natively in that language — it's not a word-for-word machine translation of an English summary, it's a fresh interpretation written directly in your chosen language. So if you upload a lab report in English but want the explanation in Urdu, you'll get a complete Urdu summary that reads naturally, including medical terms explained in a way that makes sense in that language. The platform adds new languages periodically based on user demand.
No. There's no registration, no login, and no personal information required. You visit the site, upload your document, and get your summary. The whole process takes about 10 seconds and it's completely free.
No, and it was never designed to. MyLGHealth is an educational health document reader — it helps you understand what your lab report or prescription says in plain language. It doesn't diagnose conditions, recommend treatments, or replace the clinical judgment of a doctor who knows your full health picture. What it does is make sure you're not walking into your next appointment confused about your own results, so you can ask better questions and have a more productive conversation with your physician.
MyLGHealth is a free AI-powered health document reader. Upload your lab report or prescription and get an instant plain language summary, privately and securely.
